"description": "Thank you for your interest in participating in the Women’s March Foundation Youth Volunteer Program! Below are brief descriptions of our current volunteer opportunities. Please fill out the form below in its entirety, and a member of our team will contact you with more information. 1. Voter Registration Drives What it is: WMF trains volunteers and sends them to community events, campuses, and public spaces year-round to register new voters. How it works: Attend a quick training (in-person or virtual) — covers the rules, scripts, and tips you need. Get matched to upcoming drives based on your location and availability. No experience required. We prep you before every shift. Good fit for: People who like talking to strangers, enjoy face-to-face outreach, and want an ongoing (not one-and-done) way to get involved. Must have reliable transportation. Learn more: WomensMarchFoundation.org/Vote — check your registration status or register right on our site. 2. Postcarding & Phone Banking — Get Out the Vote for Nov 3, 2026 What it is: A get-out-the-vote push mixing handwritten postcards and phone calls, ramping up ahead of Election Day (November 3, 2026). How it works: Postcarding: Write short, non-partisan reminder postcards. Choose a write-in shift, an at-home kit, or a drop-in session. Phone Banking: Use a simple script and dialer tool to remind voters of key dates and confirm registration and polling info. Flexible: Do one shift or commit to a weekly slot leading up to November — your call. Good fit for: Anyone who wants something low-pressure and flexible — great if you're new to organizing. Learn more: WomensMarchFoundation.org/Volunteer — buy postcards and find the latest events and openings. 3. Cafeina — Community Coffee Shop Location: 2454 Overland Ave. What it is: WMF's newest project — a community coffee shop on LA's Westside that doubles as a gathering and organizing hub. How it works: Hours: Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM Functions as a neighborhood coffee shop where community members can host meetings and connect. Volunteers help behind the counter with coffee service and support community events hosted at the shop. Good fit for: People who like a steady, welcoming environment, enjoy customer-facing work, and want to be part of a community space rather than a campaign-style push. Learn more: WomensMarchFoundation.org/Volunteer — for current shift openings and how to sign up.
