	"description": "As you know, I&#x27;ve been involved with UAEM for well over 10 years, and I currently serve as Board President of the North American board. UAEM is an incredible student-lead non-profit that is making a difference in the lives of students, training them to become experts and leaders in the fight for access to medicines at university campuses. We are winning victories on the university level and need your support to take our fight to the national stage. Recently, I spoke at the DC March for Science, rallying scientists and science supporters to push for the NIH to ensure affordable access to taxpayer funded research: UAEM puts a fire in my heart and nothing would make me happier than to see us raise the funds we need to carry forward our national campaign.
