His doctors say the bullet severed his spinal cord, and he will likely be paraplegic. He was planning to get married to his fiancée, Du’a, in two months. Please give what you can for his medical care, for travel for his family to the hospital and rehab center in the long months to come, for the family's lost income — Harun's, and also his father, and his brother if they are denied work permits in Israel — and to rebuild their home and enable it to be accessible for his disability. According to Amira Hass and Hagar Shezaf in Haaretz, his family’s home was one of five homes in their neighborhood demolished in the past three months. One New Year's Day, drones spotted their neighbor finishing his sheep pen; Israeli settlers alerted the IDF who came to their village, Khirbet al-Rakiz in the South Hebron Hills, and barged into his neighbor's house without a warrant. They confiscated the generator. Palestinians who live in the area aren't allowed by the Israeli Civil Administration to connect to the electrical grid or water supply, even though nearby settlements have ready access to utilities. When his neighbor shouted, Harun and his father went over to help. The neighbors were unarmed. A video shows what happened.",
