	"description": "Walworth Living Room is a space for our neighbourhood, and for you! Help us organise new activities, improve the space and reach more people. When the pandemic hit, the Walworth Living Room closed to the public while continuing to offer activities online. The building, however, was transformed into a Community Food Hub for local residents. With the extraordinary help of hundreds of volunteers, we’ve delivered 340 tonnes of food in more than 40,000 food parcels. As we return to in-person activities, we have exciting news! We have opened a community cafe! Serving delicious, affordable and healthy food, our cafe will soon become a central space for the life of the neighbourhood. Every Friday, we will also serve free hot meals to parents and children returning home from school. A great initiative to ensure everyone has access to healthy and nutritious food. We&#x27;ve set up a Community Fridge where people can give and share surplus food to tackle waste and food insecurity.
