"description": "On October 5, Equitas Health workers celebrated one year of forming their union while recognizing the continued struggle for fair working conditions, dignity, and respect from management. In response, Equitas management cut a regularly scheduled bonus, reduced a cost of living adjustment, and continued to deny workers the ability to communicate with their Board of Trustees. Workers fought for and established a united voice that can hold leadership accountable and put the focus back on client care– now it’s time for Equitas management to hold up their end of the bargain and finalize a union contract that prioritizes fair and equitable working conditions for their employees.",
