When students working frontline jobs, living in crowded housing units, and are exposed at higher rates to COVID 19 – how do police keep them safe? When buildings are empty – who do police protect? Are we protecting property or students? We demand the abolishment of the College of Marin Police Department. Plain and simple. Now during the pandemic is the time to make this change. We don’t need police patrolling empty buildings while our students face the pandemic and economic hardship.",
