	"description": "On July 7th, 2025, a coalition of Alhambra organizations presented the NO ICE RESOLUTION, which was modeled after the resolution Huntington Park recently passed, to Alhambra City Council. The City Council then eliminated all of the language outlining how the City should restrict ICE&#x27;s unconstitutional search, seizure, and arrests, and report ICE&#x27;s civil rights violations. On Monday, July 28th at 6:00p.m, the city’s watered-down resolution will be heard by the City Council for a vote. Write to Council Members to demand that: 1) the resolution should be taken off of the Consent Agenda so it can be adequetly discussed; and 2) pass a resolution that holds ICE accountable to the constituation and civil rights!",
