These warrants are used by law enforcement to pull information on everyone who searched a specific set of keywords to then work backwards to investigative leads or suspects. Unfortunately, they are not specific to persons of interest, and therefore many innocent people&#x27;s information is caught up in these searches and their privacy is violated. As states across the country ban abortions, gender-affirming care, and target immigrants and other marginalized communities it is important that Delaware laws protect our privacies and rights. Reverse keyword search warrants have a chilling effect on internet users of all backgrounds, and puts our communities at risk of being targeted for simply practicing their first amendment rights. Delaware is home to over a third of Fortune 500 companies and so our laws have a national and international impact. We do not want states like Texas sending warrants to see internet users&#x27; private information so that they can enforce draconian, anti-human rights laws.
