"description": "Nurses at Cayuga Medical Center won their union on January 15th and made their first request to bargain on February 2nd. Since then, Cayuga Medical Center has failed to provide information required for bargaining, told nurses that they couldn’t talk about the union at work, and has taken down nurses’ union flyers in the hospital. No intervention has been made by Rob Lawlis to correct this lawless behavior. Nurses have not yet met with management to have their first bargaining session because of CMC’s delays. CMC leadership and management must respect nurses’ rights and bargain in good faith. Nurses are seeking to have a collaborative and respectful working and bargaining relationship with the hospital; to move forward, we demand that Rob Lawlis and CMC: End delays and start bargaining immediately and consistently Provide information to the union as required by law, without delays Stop taking down union flyers, and release a joint statement with the union clarifying that nurses may put up union flyers by time clocks and talk about the union at work under federal labor law Rob Lawlis must bargain in good faith with his workers.",
