	"description": "Our senator in AD49, Sasha-Rene Perez, introduced a new bill, the Protect California Rights Act (SB 1105),which would do the following: Prohibiting local and state law enforcement from assisting federal agents in operations that involve racial or identity profiling, criminalization of speech, or use of unauthorized weapons of war against Californians. Prohibiting federal law enforcement from acting beyond their federal jurisdiction to stop and arrest Californians, except during times of emergency and with the Governor’s approval. People volunteering to witness and document the actions of ICE and Border Patrol are having their rights violated by the federal agents, and also, by local police. Tell your state senator to support this bill.",
