	"description": "Snohomish County is currently accepting comments on the Shoreline and Flood Hazard permits for  the North Seattle Lateral Upgrade, a fracked gas pipeline expansion.   This PSE backed project harms already threatened salmon in 15 streams during spawning season, at a time when our Salish Sea orcas are starving due to declining salmon runs.  The proposed expansion would raise our state greenhouse gas emissions 3-5%, when the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has given us less than a decade to drastically cut emissions or face catastrophic warming. Tell Snohomish County planning how critical it is to take a closer look at this harmful project! Your voice matters- send the County a comment calling for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the project, and a reminder why avoiding damage to sensitive shoreline and wetland areas is critical!   The Planning Department needs to hear from concerned citizens like you in order to take action.",
