In just the first six months of this year, Ford, GM, and Stellantis have raked in $20 billion in profits. And, over the past few years, their CEOs have seen their annual compensation increase by 40%. If Ford, GM, and Stellantis can afford to pay their CEOs tens of millions of dollars, surely the workers who make their profits possible are also entitled to a 40% wage increase, restored benefits, and an end to two-tiered wages and temporary worker status. Already, More Perfect Union and our allies have sent more than 117,000 messages to CEOs of the Big Three to demand they meet workers’ demands.
