"description": "Friday, February 16 was the first funnel in the Iowa Legislative session. In good news a bill that would ban anonymous reporting to the DNR died last week but there are still some nasty bills that advanced last week, and our legislators need to hear from us and use their power to put a stop to the bills that hurt the people and places we love! SF 2371 – Would allow manure from an open feedlot to be applied to fields before the DNR has approved or denied a nutrient management plan. This opens the door for more over application of manure that seeps into our ground water and runs off into our waterways- furthering our water quality crisis.",
