	"description": "Senate Bill 193 will be voted on by the NH House as early as January 3rd or 4th. This bill, although called &quot;education freedom savings accounts&quot;, is a voucher bill which will drain money from local school districts. Public funds will go to private and religious schools with no local control or accountability by locally elected school boards. Despite the bill indicating the State will make up for some lost revenue to local school districts, this money is not in the state budget. There is no guarantee, like other state obligations to cities, towns and school districts, that the state would live up to its obligation. Let&#x27;s make sure the 180,000 students now in NH public schools have the necessary resources needed to provide a quality education. Please contact your state legislator now and ask them to vote against SB 193.",
