	"description": "At the request of Boeing and other aerospace companies, the Washington State Legislature is poised to repeal state aerospace tax incentives to avoid steep European tariffs on multiple industries in Washington state. However, the legislation to do this (HB 2945 and SB 6690) includes a &quot;snapback&quot; provision to automatically reinstate the tax breaks in the future, if an agreement is reached with the World Trade Organization. As currently written, there are no accountability measures for companies that get these tax breaks to create or maintain good jobs in Washington. Boeing employees and other supporters of tax incentive accountability are urging state legislators to add strong accountability language to the &quot;snapback&quot; provision of these bills. Lawmakers should not make open-ended commitments to special tax breaks without a commitment from their recipients to maintain and create good jobs in Washington. Please send a message to your Washington state representatives and senators -- and to Gov. Jay Inslee -- that you want HB 2945 and SB 6690 to include strong and specific accountability language for any &quot;snapback&quot; in aerospace tax incentives.",
