	"description": "Scotland and Wales have passed historic legislation to phase out dog racing in their countries. It is time to prohibit the cruelty of dog racing in the whole of the United Kingdom. The Greyhound Board of Great Britain&#x27;s own records reveal 35,168 greyhound injuries, including 1,353 track fatalities between 2017 and 2024. An additional 3,278 greyhounds were reported destroyed for other reasons such as treatment costs or because they are deemed “unsuitable for homing” after their last race. Please contact Prime Minister Keir Starmer and DEFRA Ministers and ask them to end dog racing now.",
