"description": "20 months, 600 days, without a contract. That's how long Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA) workers have been in negotiations with PMA management for a fair contract that improves pay and benefits, provides job security, and ensures safe working conditions for all. PMA workers care deeply about the museum, which is why we spend our time outside of work fighting to make it a better place. A fair union contract will help address many issues the museum is facing, particularly the high turnover rate of passionate professionals moving elsewhere in search of better working conditions and opportunities. The museum cannot maintain its stature as a world-class institution without reaching an agreement with the people who care for the art, organize the exhibitions, and lead the educational programs that make it such a special place. The PMA Board of Trustees needs to hear from the community the museum serves that enough is enough. It's time to bring contract negotiations with the PMA Union to a fair and just conclusion. Make your voice heard by taking part in our action today and sending a letter to members of the Board of Trustees. Improving the lives of PMA workers is good for the museum and good for Philadelphia. We need the support of our community today!",
