AB 2465 would ensure that state resources do not indirectly subsidize business practices that conflict with California’s public policy and values by prohibiting companies that invest in, manage, or operate private detention facilities or that contract with an agency that engages in immigration enforcement from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits such as grants, loans, or tax credits from the State of California. Additionally, this bill would launch the Due Process for All Fund to fund immigrant-related services and programs in the State.",
