"description": "I am a Child Care Voter and I believe that early education and care is a public good and should be a right for all families in America. I believe that all children should have the right to a high-quality early education beginning at birth and that early education and care includes after-school and out-of-school (OST) time, in addition to birth-to-five programs. I am a Child Care Voter and I believe that access to early education and care is a racial and social justice issue; it is core to racial justice, gender equity, economic equity, and equity in education. All children deserve an equal start in life and all families deserve access to the care solutions that support their ability to aspire - for themselves and for their families. I am a Child Care Voter and I believe that a high-quality early education and care system is affordable, accessible, culturally competent, and equipped to serve children with special needs. I believe that early educators are valued teachers and deserve to be paid a living wage, on par with public preschool and pre-K educators with similar credentials and experience. I am a Child Care Voter and I believe that fixing the child care crisis is a legislative priority.",
