Last month, LA County declared a state of emergency due to ICE’s campaign of terror on our residents, and it’s time for Lynwood to take a stand. Passing a Values Act in the city of Lynwood will help ensure that city resources are used by the city, and not ICE. Other cities like Los Angeles and Huntington Park have already passed Values Acts which build on the statewide Values Act, and thanks to community organizing, adopting a citywide is now on the Lynwood’s City Council agenda. The council is holding their first (of two votes) on adopting a Values Act on Tuesday November 18th, 2025 at 6PM.
