	"description": "This fast-moving bill has already passed out of the Senate and into the House Committee on Environmental Affairs, so we need all hands on deck now to encourage our representatives to encourage their friends on the Environmental Affairs Committee, as well as members of that committee, to either amend the bill or to oppose it. Despite some good bureaucratic clean up measures, the potential harm of the bill in its present form far outweighs any benefits. It proposes many changes that would dramatically limit the ability of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management to protect human and environmental health. For example, there are more than 40 instances in which the bill seeks to change currently mandatory environmental protection actions to discretionary actions.",
