"description": "Dear Seattle City Council, I love Pike Place Market, but I don’t love the cars driving through the middle of it. They make me feel unsafe, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. Please make the street a better experience for everyone — people walking, rolling, loading/unloading goods, and shopping, by restricting through-traffic and opening up opportunities such as more vendors, seating, art, music, or load zones. Markets around the world have figured out how to do this while maintaining vendor loading/unloading, and we can too. If Pike Place Market made the street more welcoming and easier to shop at, I would be more likely to come and visit and spend money at the market.",
