The bill will bankrupt thousands of child care programs and tens of thousands of teacher livelihoods, leaving less care for California families. It&#x27;s time to act. The bill will: Defund preschools providing spots to low-income working families. Full-day, full-year subsidy spots will be replaced with part-day, part-year care only served by public schools Replace those spots with inappropriate care. Kindergarten desks and buses are not appropriate for 3 and 4 year-olds. Destruct our already weak care system. The bill will put child cares statewide out of business forever.
