"description": "Dear Barbara Rentler, I am appalled by the conditions LA garment workers face producing clothing sold in your stores. The Department of Labor found that Ross was producing its clothes in factories that paid workers $5-6 an hour. Ross failed to pay sufficient contract prices for its garment orders to enable factory owners to comply with the minimum wage. Four workers who received judgments for a total of $789,441.74 in owed wages earned while producing Ross clothing, are now demanding that Ross take responsibility for the wage theft they caused. I support LA garment workers who are demanding that Ross ends wage theft in factories they use and commit to make LA sweatshop free. Ross should pay workers for the wage theft you created!",
