It lets us enjoy safe walking and exercising outdoors with minimal disruption to our quality of life. It&#x27;s a place for kids, pets and families. Slow Lake Street is currently only authorized until the end of the COVID-19 emergency. SFMTA staff is proposing to permanently authorize Slow Lake Street, and build new designs for the Slow Street.
