Securing a pro-worker majority on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is crucial for this goal. Biden has nominated two Democrat candidates–Lauren McFerran and Joshua Ditelberg–for the Board’s open seats, but the Senate must confirm them before it’s too late. Trump’s NLRB was a disaster for working-class people, it was decidedly pro-employer, pro-corporation, and anti-worker. He gave management more rights in the workplace, allowing them to discipline workers even if it impacts their right to organize, gave employers more say in determining the bargaining unit of a union, and allowed management to undermine the bargaining process. Despite the Biden administration’s failures–from not passing the PRO Act or advancing Build Back Better to enabling a genocide in Gaza–its NLRB has been undoing the wrongs of the Trump Board, increasing funding to the agency as well as consistantly issuing pro-worker rulings. Another Trump-majority NLRB, by contrast, would be a disaster for the labor movement, returning us to an era of total corporate domination. Join us in urging Senator Schumer to act by sending an email and making a call: schedule a vote, unite the Senate majority, confirm Biden’s NLRB nominations, stand with workers against Trump!",
