"description": "It has been over three months since the Trump Administration rescinded provisions that ban ICE from targeting “sensitive locations” including houses of worship, healthcare facilities, schools, childcare and recreational facilities, emergency response areas, and public assistance offices. Since then, we have seen attacks on students and families in and around their schools. The Protecting Sensitive Locations Act (H.R.1061/ S.455) would restore and strengthen these protections. This legislation can be incorporated into the latest Department of Homeland Security funding bill or passed on its own too. Reach out to your members of Congress to urge them to support the reinstatement of these safety provisions that keep ICE out of our schools.",
