"description": "It’s time for us to show our support for the workers, not just by boycotting products, but adding our voices. Use the tools on this page to email a message of worker support directly to the CEO of Kellogg’s, Steven Kahillane. Kellogg’s has a policy of forcing workers to “volunteer” for overtime, 7 days a week, with inconsistent scheduling forcing 24 hour availability. Kellogg’s created a two-tiered system to weed out “legacy” employees, so they can replace them with “transitional” employees. Of course, the only difference between the two is transitional employees make a lot less money ($12 an hour less!), pay for their own healthcare, get less paid vacation and sick days, and aren’t even eligible for a pension. The workers are winning. More Perfect Union’s reporting is helping. Kellogg’s released their own propaganda video in response to our earlier report. Instead of being cowed, Kellogg’s workers felt gaslighted and their resolve stiffened. Now, with support from the White House, workers have the wind at our backs. Send a message of solidarity with striking workers directly into the inbox of Kellogg’s CEO Steven Kahillane today! It only takes a minute with our easy tool. Click “start writing” to get started! We’ve provided a sample message, but feel free to personalize it to have an even greater impact.",
