	"description": "The Steelers have a hard-won reputation for being fixtures in the Pittsburgh community. Rightfully so. They have a presence in so much of what Western Pennsylvania is known for and prides itself on. They also have a pretty large ribbon ad for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette running inside their stadium on game days, plus PG-sponsored high school highlights. In “normal” times, that would be understandable. Both the Steelers and the PG are Pittsburgh institutions. But we are on strike against a company that effectively and unilaterally booted people off their health insurance in Year 3 of a global pandemic, has refused collective raises for 16 years, and sicced both private security and public law enforcement on its workers fighting for a dignified workplace. We know that’s not what a union town believes in. And we think the same should be true of the NFL team that’s only ever known Pittsburgh as its home. It’s why we’re asking that the Steelers reconsider – and ultimately – sever their media sponsorship with the Post-Gazette. And we’re asking you to ask them with us — by sending a letter to them yourself. We’re fighting for news our community deserves. You, with the Steelers, can help our community win that fight.",
