	"description": "In this session of Congress, U.S. Representatives introduced policies such as: The Reimagining Safety Act, which would abolish ICE and Border Patrol The Dignity and Due Process for Children Act, which would ban federal immigration agencies from detaining unaccompanied children and require an attorney to be present before kids sign anything affecting their immigration status or rights The Find Our Families Act, which would make sure that people in detention stay in touch with their families and attorneys, and require federal agencies and detention facilities to notify detainees’ families and legal representatives when they’re taken to a hospital or another facility Additionally, U.S. Senators introduced: The Keeping Immigrants and Destinations Safe (KIDS) Act, which would block the Department of Homeland Security from detaining children The HELP for Separated Children Act, which would ensure detained parents can arrange for the care of their children and stay in touch with their children. It would also allow parents to participate in their immigrant children’s court proceedings and more. The Oversight, Protection, and Enforcement Notification (OPEN) Act, which is similar to the Find Our Families Act described above Our members of Congress need to hear from us to support these bills, bring them up for a vote, and pass them.
