Disney has already paid Trump $16 million and already pulled Kimmel once under FCC pressure. Appeasement didn’t stop the administration’s attacks. It bought more threats, including early license reviews and now this. Disney and ABC can still choose courage. The public forced a reversal on Kimmel last time. Executive leadership can do it again. Reject the intimidation. Put newsworthy interviews on television and make clear the Trump administration stays out of the control room.
