The Louisiana Legislature can override Gov. Edwards&#x27; vetoes -- let&#x27;s make sure that doesn&#x27;t happen! This year has had multiple dangerous, unnecessary attacks on transgender and LGBTQ+ youth. Kids who simply want to make friends, go to school, and grow up healthy are being used as political pawns, both across the country and here at home. With the stroke of a pen, Governor Edwards has vetoed HB 81, HB 466, and HB 648. In doing so, he stood up against this hateful rhetoric and harmful legislation. Now is the time for us to remind our State Representatives how important it is to do what’s best for all Louisianans. They must sustain the vetoes, and defend LGBTQ+ kids from these continuous attacks. Please send an email to State Representatives that are essential to sustaining these vetoes. Ask them to sustain the veto of HB 81, HB 466, and HB 648 and tell them that LGBTQ+ youth deserve to be respected and supported in their schools, doctor&#x27;s offices, and by the State of Louisiana.  ",
