The event was a MASSIVE success, demonstrating a strong need for more pedestrian space on Austin Street and a safer, better, calmer, more economically vibrant space. This year we&#x27;re going for it again, four Sundays, August 30th through Sept 20th. But we need your help. As this application moves through the process, we need to ensure our elected leaders know the community supports it. We did that without a letter of support, but from here until August 30th, opponents of safer streets will start hounding them to stop us, so help us make sure this year is the year we get an OFFICIAL Open Street on Austin Street!",
