On June 3rd, workers in Homegrown&#x27;s retail and whole production and distribution business delivered a petition signed by a majority of workers, calling on Homegrown to agree to a fair process to determine whether to form a union. Homegrown operates 10 retail locations in the Seattle area and sells wholesale products under brands Molly&#x27;s, Tosti, Shine, and Bolt to area cafes and institutions. A union at Homegrown would mean wages, benefits, and working condition that would make their jobs and lives in the Seattle area sustainable. Homegrown Shift Lead Russell says, “Even after working for Homegrown for 7 years, it’s not enough money. It means I have to work too much, and it takes away time from my family. As a father, time with my kids is the most important thing.” Workers at Homegrown are calling on customers and businesses for support, to urge Homegrown to meet with them, agree to a fair process, and ultimately respect their decision on whether to form a union. You can help by sending a message to businesses that sell Homegrown products, like Caffe Vita.",
