They must not be given another dime unless meaningful, legally binding restraints are included in the appropriations legislation. DHS is currently using billions of congressionally allocated funds to buy industrial warehouses and convert them into ICE detention centers where they will house our immigrant neighbors―including children. ICE’s existing detention facilities have been described as cruel, inhumane, and barbaric. We cannot allow any more of our tax dollars to go toward ICE’s lawlessness.
