	"description": "As AI technologies are increasingly being adopted by New York state agencies for everything from issuing driver&#x27;s licenses to awarding public benefits, along with AI&#x27;s record of mistakes and perpetuating existing biases, we must protect working class New Yorkers from government misuse of these technologies. The legislative oversight of automated decision-making in government (LOADinG) Act would require human review of the decisions made by AI systems, subject the systems to regular, public impact assessments, and provide labor protections to government workers that might be affected by these systems. To ensure the LOADinG Act provides New Yorkers with the protections they need and lead the way for AI regulation across the country, we must demand that Hochul sign this bill into law.",
