"description": "Right now, Kentucky's lawmakers are meeting in Frankfort to pass a bill providing emergency relief to the tens of thousands of Kentuckians whose lives and communities were upended by the July 28th floods in eastern Kentucky. There's money for schools, for local governments, for roads and bridges. There's no money for housing. Thousands of Kentucky families either partially or completely lost their homes in the flooding and are living in state parks, temporary trailers, and even tents. Tell Kentucky's lawmakers they must include funding to provide funding for safe, affordable housing for our neighbors before the weather turns cold. This cannot wait for the regular legislative session. Winter is coming and without help now from Frankfort, many Kentuckians will be living in tents where their homes once stood.",
