	"description": "The Star Plan would establish a countywide framework to study, secure funding for, and develop rapid transit for six high-volume transportation corridors: Colonial, Semoran, Silver Star (Lynx 125), Sunshine Corridor (MCO-Disney), International (Lynx 8), Orange Blossom. Rapid Transit is transportation that has a 15 minute or less headway, signal priority and a dedicated right of way. Passing the STAR Plan would give Orange County residents access to Opportunity, Housing, &amp; Jobs, all while lowering traffic congestion and carbon emissions Countywide. The plan is transparent and community-led, all while being aligned with County initiatives such as Housing for All, Vision 2050 and Vision Zero. Buses and Trains are the form of transportation with the ability to move the most people and are the most affordable option for working people &amp; tourist alike. Orange County is facing a transportation crisis with high traffic, long commutes, and rising prices. Our communities need relief on transportation more than ever, we can’t keep waiting for the perfect conditions to fund rapid transit, the time is now.
