	"description": "Arizona lawmakers upset with the way Arizonans have voted over the past several elections are trying to rush through a collection of anti-democracy referrals for the 2024 ballot. Due to it being referrals, this is something that Governor Hobbs will not have the authority to veto. This means that we could face the longest ballot in Arizona&#x27;s history — filled with anti-voter proposals. Some of these referrals include eliminating voting centers, making it easier to overturn the way Arizonans voted, revoking the right of Arizonans to hold judges accountable, and so much more. Their goal is to make the ballot as long and confusing as possible so that these extremist anti-democracy proposals slip through the process and pass. If legislators approve these proposals for the ballot, there is no plan b. Arizonans run the risk of their rights being weakened, and it makes the roles of election administrators much more difficult during a presidential election year. If all of these proposals get on the ballot, it will run the risk of election administrators not having enough time to prepare our elections, and potentially delay certification of our election results. We know this is not what real everyday Arizonans want.
