	"description": "Over the past several months we have had an important opportunity to start a discussion about the future of ILR. We have come together in forums, continued a positive dialogue on social media, and had an opportunity to meet with candidates to be our school’s next dean. We hope to continue this important discussion going forward. But as the dean search comes to a close we believe that it is important that the search committee and Provost hear feedback from our entire community.   Two candidates stand out as being particularly well suited to lead our school at this critical time: Interim Dean Alex Colvin and Professor Marion Crain. Both of these candidates have impressive credentials and presented compelling visions for the future of the ILR School. We have drafted a letter to the search committee and provost to say that we believe Professor Crain’s candidacy presents a unique opportunity for our school to embrace new and innovative approaches to fulfilling our mission of improving working lives.
