I want to live in a world free from the risk of nuclear weapons and, for the UK government to do everything in its power to defuse international tensions in order to prevent nuclear war. Public awareness of the nuclear weapons deployment is growing, and the majority of the British public are opposed to it. A survey conducted by YouGov in late August 2023 found that 59% were either opposed or strongly opposed to a US nuclear mission in Britain. As part of the UK and global majority, I call on the government to reject US nuclear weapons at any site in the UK.",
