Mapache recently completed high school, and is a committed community organizer and budding filmmaker. He was picked up while peacefully protesting the unethical and immoral treatment of immigrants by ICE and DHS. Sign the petition to get Mapache released now! Mapache was first transferred to the Pearsall Detention Center, then to the Webb Detention Center in Laredo, Texas, where he is currently detained. Mapache is a client of RAICES in Texas. He is now locked up with a hearing date in October. This is an act of State Sanctioned terror by ICE.
