The resolution paints a bleak picture of our county. Without naming them, the resolution refers to racial justice activists as &quot;groups that endanger us all by spreading chaos, encouraging civil unrest and destroying our communities in an effort to weaken our democracy.” We the people of Madison County reject this worldview. We refuse to live in fear of each other. We embrace the Black Lives Matter movement and add our voices to their calls for justice. We are Madison County, and we are not afraid.",
