Through its AI and machine learning algorithms, Palantir has become the brains behind genocide, oppression, and exploitation. Palantir has provided intelligence and surveillance services to the Israeli military to fuel the genocide in Gaza, to ICE in order to more efficiently kidnap and deport immigrants, and to law enforcement agencies to surveil every day citizens. Palantir is the antithesis of the spirit of Denver. It profits off of human oppression, misery, and suffering. Is this really the type of business we want in Cherry Creek, or in Colorado at all? The History of Palantir in Denver: Since being protested out of the Bay Area in 2020, Palantir has worked out of the 15th floor of the Tabor Center in downtown Denver. Denver Anti-War Action (DAWA) and many other community organizations have been fighting against Palantir, bringing to light its complicity in the genocide of the Palestinian people and other atrocities committed by and with technology developed by Palantir. Thanks in part to the pressure provided by DAWA and its allies, Palantir has been forced to move from its downtown offices to take up residence here in Cherry Creek. We, as Denverites, want what’s best for our city and our communities. The pressure on Palantir will be non-stop until they are out of Colorado for good. There will be protesting, picketing and disruption of their operations in Cherry Creek, just as there is at the Tabor Center. Due to many groups&#x27; unwavering commitment to holding war profiteering companies accountable, Palantir’s presence in Cherry Creek will have a negative impact on local businesses and communities.",
