James Madison and Alexander Hamilton believed that &quot;the representative ought to be acquainted with the interests and circumstances of his constituents (Federalist 56)&quot; while stating that &quot;members of Congress have a duty to act in alignment with the ideologies and priorities of their districts.&quot; With the massive deluge of calls and concerns about the direction of Americas&#x27;s new elected leadership, we request that Congressman Wittman convene a series of town hall meetings throughout his district to ensure his constituents views are heard on the issues important to them.",
