	"description": "On 19 July the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel practices apartheid and segregation, and is in illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories. The ICJ stated there is a duty on all states not to cooperate with and to act against these practices. It is expected of every government, or organ of government, that they follow a policy of non-cooperation and anti-apartheid action. The Scottish Government decision to ignore this obligation and, instead, deepen ties with Israel is abhorrent to the Scottish people more especially at a time when Israel is awaiting trial before the ICJ for alleged genocide at this moment in Gaza.",
