The Trump administration doubled down on coal by taking a slew of actions, including opening 13.1 million acres of public lands for coal leases, reconsidering air and water regs for coal power plants, and announcing $625 million in plant investments. Under the guise of an emergency, the administration directed utilities to keep previously retiring coal power plants online, costing ratepayers hundreds of millions of dollars. We know that coal is bad for our health, our environment, and our electricity bills, that’s why we retirees say “Let Coal Retire Already!”",
