	"description": "Since October 7th, more than 24,000 people have been killed in Israel-Palestine with over 9,000 being children. The Israeli death toll has remained around 1,000 since the beginning of this conflict while the number of dead Palestinian civilians continues to grow. Further, Israel has intentionally targeted civilian infrastructure (more than half of the residential units in Gaza are destroyed - a number greater than 3 times the total housing units in the City of Richmond) and over 100 journalists and their families have been assassinated by the Israeli Defense Forces. There is an overwhelming consensus among international genocide/Holocaust scholars and human rights organizations that Israel is conducting genocide, and that the segregationist policies of the Israeli Government amount to an Apartheid state. The City of Richmond sends nearly $4 million a year to the Israeli government. There are over 100 Israeli businesses headquartered in Virginia with preferential treatment facilitated by our State government through the Virgnia Israeli Advisory Board. Help us push Richmond City Council to take action and pass this resolution!",
