	"description": "KCC (and majority Conservative group at Kent County Council) is planning on cutting bus subsidies, which threatens to end essential services across Kent, including services for disabled people (the Kent Karrier Services). This is a time when we need to be investing in better cheaper public transport, NOT encouraging more traffic on our already busy, congested roads. Local Dover district services likely affected include: South East Kent Karrier - Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone and Hythe. Mon-Fri (4,617 journeys last year). Sandwich Connect - Staple Sandwich Northbourne. Mon - Sat. S41/S42/S44 - Dover/Deal/ Sandwich/Canterbury Mon-Sat. 60/61/61A - Dover town. Mon - Sat     90 / 60/61A - Aycliffe / Whitfield / Dover / Aycliffe. Sun. Millions announced for new FastTrack Bus, Whitfield / Dover Priory couple of weeks ago? And cuts to these services that Dover district people rely on  2 weeks later? This is a really backwards and harmful plan. See here for full details of proposed cuts.
