"description": "We are focused on securing a new 2026–2029 Collective Bargaining Agreement that prioritizes faculty equity, transparency, and modernization. To ensure the District understands that faculty are unified around our core demands, we are asking faculty to sign this petition and stand with their union for a fair and equitable contract. At the heart of our bargaining efforts is the Single Salary Schedule proposal, which would resolve chronic pay errors, achieve equal pay for equal work, and adjust outdated compensation rates. In addition to these structural reforms, the Guild is fighting for robust protections around Artificial Intelligence, formalized standards for Dual Enrollment and Distance Learning, and a firm "no takeback" stance on our hard-won benefits.",
